Thank you to Captain Gary Herschel (“Puddle Jumper”) and Captain Mike Oseland (“Phish On”) for hosting Wilmette’s Police and Fire Fighters during our 3rd Annual First Responders Fishing Derby.
Additionally, many thanks to Captain Bill Strnad (“Jaws”) and Todd Stewart (“Trout Tickler”) for scouting out the fishing hot spots earlier in the morning prior to the event.
This 3rd annual event is Wilmette Harbor’s way of saying “thank you” to our village first responders for their service and protection.
