Please do not put a tablecloth on any of the tables and leave. We have limited space and want everyone to be able to enjoy the festivities.\nFOODWe will be offering burgers\, brats\, and \;hotdogs in the parking lot from 5:30pm - 8:00pm by our amazing staff. All meals will include chips and soda.\nGillson Park\nGillson Park will be closed to traffic ALL DAY on July 3rd. There is a running race on the morning of July 3rd so look for temporary road closures around Wilmett e that morning.\nDROP OFFSThe Park District will be allowing people to dro p off supplies along Michigan Ave. Please take Lake Ave. East then turn ri ght onto Michigan Ave. and head toward the entrance of Gilson Park. This w ill be a drop-off only with no parking—bring people to help.\nCLOSURESSher idan Road will close to vehicle traffic at 6:00pm so plan accordingly. The re will be limited street parking East of Green Bay Road but there will be parking available at Northwestern’s Ryan Field. Bus service will NOT be a vailable this year so expect the surrounding areas to be very crowded.\nFi reworks\nThe fireworks are the largest event at Gillson Park. Please allow plenty of time and plan on walking or riding bicycles. Members are welcom e to come down in person\, grab one table and stay at that table for the e ntire day.
